Informed Consent: Did you get yours?

We all remember playing connect the dots as a kid. The paper was filled with dots and appeared to make out an image, but it wasn’t quite clear exactly what that image was. We could make guesses on what we thought it was based on the placement of the dots or use of other elements in the image but the only way to know for sure was by taking a pencil, crayon, pen or marker and connecting all the dots correctly to reveal the image. Even if the overall picture could be guessed, it was still incomplete without connecting every single dot.

This image is your child’s health. We are presented with dots and clues, but our writing tool, which allows us to connect these dots is being taken away. What we are left with is an incomplete picture forcing us to make decisions based on guesses. I am referring to the issue of “informed consent.”

Informed consent by definition is: Permission granted in the knowledge of the possible consequences, typically that which is given by a patient to a doctor for treatment with full knowledge of the possible risks and benefits.

“Voluntary agreement given by a person or a patient’s’ responsible proxy (for example, a parent) for participation in a study, immunization program, treatment regimen, invasive procedure, etc., after being informed of the purpose, methods, procedures, benefits, and risks. The essential criteria of informed consent are that the subject has both knowledge and comprehension, that consent is freely given without duress or undue influence, and that the right of withdrawal at any time is clearly communicated to the patient. Other aspects of informed consent in the context of epidemiologic and biomedical research, and criteria to be met in obtaining it, are specified in International Guidelines for Ethical Review of Epidemiologic Studies (Geneva: CIOMS/WHO 1991) and International Ethical Guidelines for Biomedical Research Involving Human Subjects (Geneva: CIOMS/WHO 1993).”

Imagine, you are simply told “it's safe” but shortly after administering the product to your child they suffered a known complication that you were not informed of. This is an example of a lack of informed consent.

“Had I known this was an issue, I never would have given it to him.”

Those are the powerful words of a mother who lost her son to suicide shortly after he was prescribed the common treatment of the flu, Tamiflu. On the warning label of Tamiflu it states:

  • Neuropsychiatric events: Patients with influenza, including those receiving TAMIFLU, particularly pediatric patients, may be at an increased risk of confusion or abnormal behavior early in their illness. Monitor for signs of abnormal behavior.

"The reality with Tamiflu is that if the flu normally lasts seven days it shortens that duration by about twelve hours.” -Dr. Jason Henny

There will always be risks, but knowing these risks is a crucial part of the decision making process, especially if it is regarding the overall health of your child. For this grieving mother the benefits of this drug was not worth her son's life. Cases like this may be considered uncommon, unfortunately, there is no way to know for sure if every case is reported or connected to the drug.

Now, what if this complication was dismissed by the very doctors who never informed you about it in the first place? This is the heartbreaking reality for many parents. They are unable to connect the dots and see the full picture because they do not receive the information to do so.

Declared “unavoidably unsafe” by the supreme court, the government founded VAERS and has paid out BILLIONS for injuries. Adverse reactions listed on insert include, but not limited to: Encephalitis, (brain swelling) encephalopathy, seizures, anaphylaxis and anaphylactoid reactions, Pneumonia, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, erythema multiforme. These are a few of the reactions listed directly on vaccine inserts.

"If a product is found to be unavoidably unsafe then it's not a defective product, even if it causes injury.”

Vaccines are a controversial and uncomfortable topic, but it is an area that severely lacks informed consent. The ingredients and amounts are not disclosed, parents are not given an in depth, accurate list of possible side effects or reactions. When parents request this information or ask a simple question they are bullied, ridiculed and in many cases asked to leave the practice!

MMR (MMR II) - chick embryo cell culture, WI-38 human diploid lung fibroblasts, vitamins, amino acids, fetal bovine serum, sucrose, glutamate, recombinant human albumin, neomycin, sorbitol, hydrolyzed gelatin, sodium phosphate, sodium chloride

“human diploid lung fibroblats.”

"WI-38 is a diploid human cell culture line composed of fibroblasts derived from lung tissue of a 3 months gestation female fetus.” There is another humans DNA being injected into us. Regardless of your view on abortion, I believe it is important to know that fetal cells are in vaccines.

DTaP-IPV/Hib (Pentacel)- aluminum phosphate, polysorbate 80, sucrose, formaldehyde, glutaraldehyde, bovine serum albumin, 2-phenoxyethanol, neomycin, polymyxin B sulfate, modified Mueller’s growth medium, ammonium sulfate, modified Mueller-Miller casamino acid medium without beef heart infusion, Stainer-Scholte medium, casamino acids, dimethyl-beta-cyclodextrin. glutaraldehyde, MRC-5 cells (a line of normal human diploid cells), CMRL 1969 medium supplemented with calf serum, Medium 199 without calf serum, modified Mueller and Miller medium

In order to remain on task, I will not do an in depth analysis on each ingredient. I have provided information directly from the CDC website to benefit anyone who is seeking accurate information.

Did you have all the recommended vaccines growing up? So did I, we are all alive and functioning so why bother even discussing it? Compare the number of vaccines we received with the number our children will receive. There have been no extensive studies done on the safety of the current CDC schedule.

Vaccine Schedule in 1983:

Vaccine Schedule Today:

Do the benefits outweigh the risk? That is something every parent must decide for themselves, but only after they have been given proper informed consent. It has become clear that the informed consent everyone is entailed to will not be freely given, we must be our children’s advocate and ask questions until we are satisfied with the answers and feel we can confidently make a fully informed decision. Please don’t take my word for it, I urge you to research and put the pieces together for yourself. The best way to spot the propaganda and fear mongering is to remember this:

The truth flows from the mouths of those who have nothing to gain and everything to lose.

Who is the source of the information? The CDC makes 4.3 billion dollars off of vaccines, is that study you recently read an internal study done by them? The doctors, scientists and whistle blowers who fight for your informed consent lose their licenses, get forced into bankruptcy, are jailed without trial and even receive death threats!

All the information I have provided is directly from the CDC and FDA, it’s all public information.

Do not be ANTI anything, be PRO information.

It should be a priority when it comes to your family's health but the concept of informed consent can be applied to every aspect of life. Lives are destroyed everyday from lack of informed consent. As parents we must take charge of our child’s health to ensure we are making the most educated decision for our families.
